About Week of the Young Child 2010

Child Advocates from throughout Deschutes County have joined forces to present a week-long celebration of young children and families in our communities. Week of the Young Child, sponsored by the Deschutes County Commission on Children and Families and Partnerships for Young Children, is part of a National effort to raise awareness about early childhood programs, early education, literacy, early health screenings, nurturing, parental bonding, and positive caregiver relationships. Activities and events take place in Bend, Redmond, Sisters, Sunriver and La Pine during the week of April 10-16.
