RSVP Books & Bears Read Together Outreach: Kick-off children’s book donation drive is from April 13-27. Donate your gently used or new books for ages birth through 5th grade at the Bend Factory Stores (61300 S. HWY 97) Monday-Friday from 11:30 a.m.- 6:00 p.m., or Saturday-Sunday from Noon-3:00 p.m. Watch for Children’s Story Time on Saturdays. Look for red donation barrels throughout Deschutes County for book donations. For all drop-off sites see www.rsvpco.org. Books will be distributed to children less fortunate in Deschutes County.
